November 7, 2017- The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science & Innovation (HDSI) and Graduate Medical Education program launched their own Choosing Wisely™ challenge. Choosing Wisely is a campaign aimed at reducing waste in the health care system and avoiding risks associated with unnecessary treatment.
May 17, 2017- The University of Chicago Medicine is in collaboration with Google to research machine-learning tools with data in electronic medical records that could be used to address problems in healthcare. The team is also joined by the University of California, San Francisco, looking to improve predictions in healthcare.
