Sonya Makhni is a Clinical Informatics Fellow at the University of Chicago, where she also works as a Hospitalist in the Department of Medicine and is a degree candidate for a Masters of Bioinformatics at the University of Chicago. She completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan in 2020, and prior to this she obtained her MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2017 and her MBA from Harvard Business School in 2016. Sonya is interested in improving healthcare systems through application of informatics-based solutions.
