Dr. Shah provides comprehensive primary care to adults and children of all ages. He serves as associate chief medical information officer of UChicago Medicine, where his work focuses on population health, value-based care, and patient engagement. He has expertise in clinical decision support, chronic disease and wellness registries, care gap analysis, quality improvement, and analytics.
Dr. Shah also serves as the associate program director of the medicine-pediatrics residency program, and as core faculty for the internal medicine residency program. He works closely with residents and medical students, emphasizing patient-centered care, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice.
