Dr. Cerasale is the Director of Quality Improvement for the Section of Hospital Medicine and co-teaches the Quality Assessment and Improvement Curriculum for Internal Medicine Residents. He launched the Peer Review Committee in Hospital Medicine and coordinates mortality review within the Department of Medicine. His other projects included EHR-based automated assistance in provider documentation and the development of provider-level performance metrics for hospitalists.
