Dr. Cynthia Gross is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist who practices infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Gross received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree and completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at the University of Michigan Medicine. Her primary research interests include assessing trends in antimicrobial prescribing and the impact of antimicrobial stewardship interventions on antimicrobial use and patient outcomes. Dr. Gross is nationally recognized for her work and is active within the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).
