Dr. Andrew Moawad is a Clinical Informatics Fellow and  Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Moawad received his undergraduate degree in Psychology / Pre-Med from Carnegie Mellon University before completing a Masters in Health Administration from Hofstra University. He has significant operations background as a Facility Manager in a Long Term Care facility before completing his medical school training in St. Kitts and subsequent Residency training at NYU Langone Health – Long Island. His primary research interests are clinical decision support, artificial intelligence, wearables, population health, quality improvement and patient safety. He recently completed EPIC Physician Builder Certification and has a desire to work in space where health technology and innovation can lead to scalable outcomes both on the patient and provider side. Dr. Moawad is an active member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE),  American College of Physicians (ACP), and American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA)
