Amanda is a passionate advocate for the adoption of technology in healthcare. With twenty years of IT experience in service of provider organizations, she offers a breadth of expertise to AVIA’s network members and consulting clients in the application of digital to propel organizational strategy and implementing effective governance and support models for long term success. Her current role as leader for the Medicaid Transformation Project at AVIA makes her an expert advisor on how digital can and is changing lives for the most vulnerable populations in the United States. Her deep expertise in EHR systems also assists the network to make informed and confident decisions for leveraging their current investments and when to approach and integrate third party solutions.
Prior to her role at AVIA, Amanda spent twelve years at UChicago Medicine where she was Executive Director of IT Strategic Programs. She also held previous leadership roles with Deloitte Consulting, LLC and other academic and community health provider organizations.
Amanda holds a BS in Health Information Management from Saint Louis University and has completed graduate work in the area of Management Information Systems. She is an active participant in conscious leadership practices and is a founding member of Chicago Women’s Circle.
