Does the work incorporate equity?
Yes, this project aims to optimize nutrition in the smallest NICU preterm population (under 1500 g) in order to optimize their lost of growth in height and weight that is they have lost during the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. By prevent the frequency of hypophosphatemia, there is better growth and lower rate of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The goal is to have these premie infants have healthy and active lives like their full term infant counterparts.
